About Me
My name is Dawn Lewis, and I am a Freelance Artist. I live with my family on the NSW Central Coast, Australia. We have a big garden, a kitten and a bunch of fish, and towers of art & craft supplies dotted around the house. I like to dabble in a lot of different things and specialise in a few, and my family is very tolerant of my new favourite projects. I grew up in a home where DIY was completely normal, and the philosophy was 'why make it if you can buy it'. My mother taught cottage crafts, my father built all sorts of cool stuff and my sister was the first to gain an art degree.
I design and demonstrate for Brandcorp Pty Ltd (Semco, Francheville, Martha Stewart & Milford Threads) in Australia ... painting, cross-stitch & paper crafts. I teach painting to anyone who'll listen, and teach scrapbooking classes at Erina Scrapbook Store.
My aim is to make art & craft * Affordable * Achievable * Accessible * for everyone.
